External liaison and customer services

Welcome to External liaison and customer services, we provide support and guidance to potential students, teachers, parents, careers advisors and other influencers both on and off campus.

We design and deliver a schedule of promotional events and activities to aid undergraduate, part-time and postgraduate recruitment both on and off-campus, working with schools and sixth forms across the North West and attending recruitment fairs nationally.

Activities include:

• Organisation of university open days – which are held 4 times a year and regular student led campus tours
• Course and general enquiries via telephone, post and the web
• Developing and delivering a schedule of activities designed to raise awareness of HE opportunities to underrepresented groups as part of the university’s widening participation strategy
• Community engagement
• Recruitment & training of a pool of Student Ambassadors who support all Advancement activities
