Preston Campus

Our largest campus is in Preston, one of the UK’s newest cities, situated in the heart of the Northwest. We’re close to the City centre, so it’s only a short walk to the bus and rail stations, and handy for a night out.

The campus is clean, green and compact. We’ve recently invested more than £120 million on buildings for teaching, learning and leisure, including our iconic Media Factory for media and performing arts students, and new facilities for dentistry, pharmacy and engineering. If you’re interested in sport, we’ve a multi-million pound sports arena about a mile from campus, which offers some of the best facilities in the Northwest and we’re busy building a new indoor sport and fitness centre.

There’s a lot to do, both on and off campus. Preston is a friendly, safe city which offers a good range of shops, cultural and leisure facilities.  UCLan is also the home of 53 Degrees, the Students’ Union entertainment venue where you get the choice of live concerts, comedy and club nights. And if you want to get out and about, there are good road, rail and bus links to the rest of the country and airports close by in Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool.

Burnley Campus

Burnley Campus is the result of a £10 million investment by UCLan that will bring University education to the town for the first time. The initiative is part of an £81 million expansion plan that will also create the most up-to-date facilities for Burnley College incorporating a sixth form centre and a separate skills and adult centre. The new facility will be open to prospective students in September 2009.

Cumbria Campus

UCLan's new Westlakes Campus in West Cumbria delivers University Education on Britain's Energy Coast ^TM. The campus offers support to local people, employers, new business and other stakeholders, and is an important contibutor to the ongoing prosperity of the area. The campus brings a full University experience with an emerging research community and the benefits of being part of a large University.
