Pre-registration Nursing
Welcome to the Pre-Registration Nursing Division. This Division is comprised of Senior Lecturers and managed by a Principal Lecturer. The team of lecturers who work within this Division have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of pre-registration nursing covering Adult, Children and Mental Health Nursing. Their expertise covers subjects such as anatomy and physiology, law, acute care, complex care, end of life issues and leadership. The team work across the Divisions within the School of Nursing and work collaboratively utilising a variety of teaching approaches to deliver sound educational programmes for all students interested in Adult, Children’s and Mental Health Nursing.
The pre-registration courses which are delivered through this Division are contemporary and cognisant of the drivers which exsist in Health Care settings either within a hospital or a community focus. Students will undertake clinical placements in hospital and community settings.
The Courses have been designed to accommodate students who wish to study Full-time or Part-time and a range of teaching and learning strategies are utilised within the courses which we teach.
Courses provided include the:
- Dip (HE) Pre Registration Nursing – Adult Nursing , Children’s Nursing , Mental Health Nursing. These courses are offered full time and part-time
- BSc (Hons) Pre Registration Nursing – Adult Nursing, Children’s Nursing, Mental Health Nursing. These courses are offered full time and part-time
