UCLan law court

Law

Law degrees at UCLan are ‘qualifying’, which means they satisfy the first-stage professional training requirements for those wanting to become a lawyer. You will acquire a critical understanding of the legal institutions, procedures and principles comprising English and European law and develop skills necessary for retrieving and applying the law to resolve practical problems. We also offer a wide range of options which allow you to consolidate and extend understanding beyond the ‘core’ subjects. A unique feature is the range of skills’ modules for developing aptitude in legal research, interviewing, negotiation, advocacy (moots), work-based learning and e-learning.

“Law degree – hard work! Great friends, strong support, made to feel part of the family – reinforced during the MBA at the Business School.”

Steven Hartley, LLB and MBA
