An excellent introduction to your sports degree, you’ll gain the knowledge, study skills and confidence to really succeed throughout the rest of the course. Take advantage of the growth in the cutting-edge development of human performance and develop the skills needed to enjoy a career in this field. Our staff are experts, with many qualified to PhD level and are research active. Some also have extra professional qualifications including UK Strength and Condition Association (UKSCA) qualified or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) accredited. You’ll have access to a range of equipment including an Olympic lifting suite at our strength and conditioning facility at UCLan Sports Arena, along with opportunities to use your theoretical and practical skills in professional environments.
