Social Commissioning for Health is a vital new short course designed to support effective and cost-effective commissioning with communities. This two-day, two-part course, is designed for CCGs, GPs, Health and Wellbeing Boards and local authorities. This course will help CCGs, implement the NHS’s Five Year Forward View and Local Authorities to fulfil their responsibilities for both participatory democracy and community engagement in health and wellbeing. It will assist Health and Wellbeing Boards in taking a strategic and practical approach to public health and community engagement.
