Why study this course?

Building a solid grounding in both practical and theoretical aspects of outdoor adventure, core modules of this course include grassroots of outdoor education, understanding and managing risk in the outdoors, practical land-based and water-based development, coaching principles and practice, psychology of adventure leadership, teaching and learning in an outdoor setting, practical outdoor leadership and expedition skills.

Partner Institutions

The UCLan partnership network offers higher education courses in 22 Partner Institutions, allowing students to study locally for their HE award. Partner students are able to take advantage of a wide-range of University facilities as well as accessing the facilities available at the Partner Institution.
