Why study this course?

This course provides an access route for all into art and design education at degree level. Students complete a foundation year to develop their skills and explore all areas of art and design, before progressing to a full BA (Hons) Degree in their chosen discipline. Students will spend their first semester on introductions to Art and Design. The second semester will be spent preparing for further study in their specialist area. There is an emphasis on experimental and creative practice as students are expected to develop ideas and explore media as the course progresses.
