Health and Social Care

Foundation Entry Year

During your Foundation Entry Year you will study alongside peers from related courses, whilst you gain a broad introduction to social care. You’ll benefit from our excellent learning experience exploring a broad range of settings for working with people and communities. We offer extensive opportunities to make a difference through work experience, entrepreneurial and research openings. With a strong commitment to strength-based education, you'll have excellent levels of support as you undertake your educational journey. Teaching is influenced by the real world experience of the lecturing staff, our partners in practice, and service user participation, as well as the research interest of the course team.
