The session will outline the role of the sponsorship proposal and the criteria sponsors use in evaluating sponsorship proposals, to allow those seeking sponsorship to gain knowledge of what they need to include in their own sponsorship seeking proposals. The learning session will also cover how to write a sponsorship proposal.

Course Outline:
Through a mixture of content input and practical activities, the session will guide sponsorship seekers in the development of sponsorship proposals. The online learning materials can be accessed at a time and place suited to your needs. Please note that the online learning materials assume that users have a basic level of IT competence in accessing and navigating web pages.

  • Appreciate the role played by sponsorship proposals in the sponsorship-seeking process;
  • Detail the sponsorship seeking process and identify the factors used by sponsors when evaluating sponsorship proposals;
  • Appraise the different approaches to price setting for sponsorship agreements;
  • Construct a sponsorship inventory and proposal.

We also have links with the smaller companies in the region and offer help and assistance to more than 1,000 of these – with many of our graduates staying in the region it is important we develop these relationships.
