Applied Investigation

Foundation Entry Year

During your Foundation Entry Year you will study alongside peers from related courses, whilst you gain a broad introduction to the principles and concepts of applied investigations, underpinned by a sound knowledge and understanding of scientific principles. This will enable progression to a range of undergraduate honours programmes within the School of Forensic and Applied Sciences or School of Engineering, most of which lead to awards with Professional Accreditation. You’ll be taught by research-informed specialist staff in state-of-the-art laboratories and experience courses with strong industry links and fieldwork ethic.
