Who should attend?

This workshop is suitable for all physiotherapists and exercise and rehabilitation professionals who wish to evaluate rehabilitation principles, including both experienced practitioners and those who are newly qualified.

Course Content

Course Outline:

This one day workshop will discuss and debate key aspects of advanced exercise principles and how these are, or can be, adapted for rehabilitation. The day will also incorporate practical application,

Key concepts:

  • Plyometrics
  • Proprioception
  • Eccentric exercise
  • FMS and other considerations in screening
  • Application of strength and conditioning principles including, rate of force development, considerations in periodization, force velocity relationships and effective use of weight training and other resistance methods.

By the end of the workshop you will have a wider understanding of how to use and apply strength and conditioning principles and exercise in your exercise programmes.
