Archaeology

Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Central Lancashire are innovative and practical subjects. With world leading research and first-class teaching, staff and students study all aspects of humanity - from our earliest origins to modern society.

Our Archaeology and Anthropology courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) and the University Archaeology UK group (UAUK). You’ll benefit from a sector-leading 10 weeks’ fieldwork experience, helping develop archaeological and transposable skills and knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to take part in real research excavations across the UK making extremely significant finds.
