Phantom head facility for Postgraduate Dentistry students
Through a programme of considerable investment we have established a dedicated set of facilities comprising:
- A state-of-the-art Phantom Head facility housing twelve workstations with ADEC Phantom Head modules, together with the latest in audio-visual technology from Scotia - with each unit linking up to the demonstrator's unit - ensuring that detailed work can be observed much more easily.
- Two dedicated lecture rooms with AV equipment, suitable for lectures and tutorials to groups of 16 students, together with area for relaxation between sessions.
- A Staff Common Room for one-to-one tutorial sessions.
The School is situated close to Allen building which houses the Dental School where the BDS programme runs. PGMDE students are thus also able to get access to a state-of-the-art Human Anatomy Resource and Learning Centre. The main University Library is also situated nearby and provides both hard copy and electronic resources.
