BSc(Hons) Psychology, 2011 Graduate
Sally Andrews graduated from UCLan in 2011 with a first class in BSc(Hons) Psychology. She presented a paper at the first British Conference of Undergraduate Research (hosted by UCLan) and was also given the opportunity to present research at undergraduate conferences in Montana and New York.
Following graduate Sally has gone on to conduct further research work, and praised the opportunities available to her while studying at UCLan.
She said: “This School of Psychology has supportive staff, who genuinely want to see students succeed. The course is structured to develop academic and non-academic skills, which are useful for most careers and personal development- my confidence has increased exponentially! I was originally interested in clinical psychology but through the opportunities to engage in cutting edge research at UCLan, I developed a passion for research and I’ve never looked back. ”
