Pharmacy student exchange programme

IPSF-BPSA Student Exchange Programme

In February this year, Miss Mutmainah Josimeika, a final year pharmacy student from Indonesia visited the School as part a mobility programme enabling pharmacy students across the world to experience pharmacy in another country.

As part of a two-week placement she undertook research with Dr Philip Welsby examining the effect of aspirin treatment on glioma cell viability, and also attended lectures, workshops and lab classes on the UCLan MPharm course. The highly successful exchange was organised by the British Pharmaceutical Students' Association (BPSA) in conjunction with its local representative Utkarsh Sakhalkar and will be reported on the BPSA website.
