Mach came to UCLan to study an MSc in Construction Project Management. Upon graduating he plans to return home and is considering further study for a PhD in Environmental Engineering/Planning, Transport Planning/Engineering or Sustainable Development.
He said: “My colleagues confirmed that UCLan is one of the best modern universities in the UK. It has a quiet academic environment, is affordable and is very friendly, making it attractive to international students. I enjoy the staff lecturers, mode of assessment and practicality of modules as they depict the real world situations and attempt to address them using various methods.
UCLan provides great support through the ‘I’, the library and helping with accommodation. Within the School of Built and Natural Environment the staff have been very supportive. New students should make sure they participate in all UCLan activities in order to make friends and get settled quickly. They also should make use of the Wiser service and the library."
