Games design students from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) benefited from a question and answer session with a top games designer.
Students from the BA(Hons) and MA Games Design courses got to question Andy Wood from Double Fine Productions, California. Andy is an artist, art director and games designer. He worked on ‘The Cave’ under Ron Gilbert (Monkey Island) and has also worked with: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Crystal Dynamics on Tomb Raider: Legend and Capcom on Maximo: Ghost to Glory and Maximo vs. Army of Zin.
The session was made possible by MA Games Design Course Leader Josh Taylor and Associate Head of School, Jim Thompson, who both studied with Andy at University.
This was an amazing opportunity for games design students to ask questions from someone with huge experience on a number of big name game titles.
